The Kawasaki Versys is powered by a high torque output 649cc parallel twin engine which has been developed and tuned to give rapid acceleration combined with high mid range power. From even low revs this bike takes off like a missile compared to other models in its class. The chassis and suspension on this bike is without exception the best in its range. Fully adjustable upside down long travel forks combine with a side mounted rear shock (adjustable preload and rebound) to give almost neutral handling and great rider comfort. This high tech rear suspension is mounted onto a beautiful gull wing type swinging arm which is longer than average due to the compact chassis and engine configuration.
